For a different view of The Cape we suggest a tour to The West Coast. After an approximate 1.5 hour drive you can experience the culture of the San people (early inhabitants of The Cape) at the !Khwa tuu San Culture and Education Centre. We then continue to the West Coast National Park where you may see a variety of wildlife and in our Spring season you will witness an abundance of wild flowers (best seen in August and September). A visit to the quaint fishing village of Paternoster and a visit to the West Coast Fossil Park near Saldanha Bay will complete this tour.

Another option would be to add a second day and take a drive to the Cedarberg mountains where you can see Rock Art painted by the early inhabitants of the area (the San people). The area also boasts a variety of interesting rock formations. Please note that minimum and maximum number of guests apply to this option and some physical uphill walking is involved, so a reasonable degree of fitness is essential.
